Getting started is a simple decision that can change your life.
We ensure our clients are in a safe and healthy environment at all times during their stay at The Gilead House.
We set the stage for clients to do the hard work of breaking cycles, relearning, and growing in ways they never imagined. It’s a day-by-day process designed to see them thrive in the future.
From Real People who have made Real Changes.
Gilead House, Inc.’s goal is to provide comprehensive addiction treatment to women in a residential setting and to foster a supportive, inclusive environment where each person can achieve lasting recovery and a productive, lawful, and healthy life. Through evidence-based modalities, personalized support, and community integration, we strive to empower our residents, including those who face the challenges of re-entry from jail or prison, to overcome addiction, build resilience, and increase positive relationships that promote sobriety and law-abiding behaviors.
We encourage personal transformation, mutual respect, and responsible community living.
Let’s GET REAL for a moment. The reality of addiction involves the pattern and cycle of addiction and what it takes to recover from its depths. Our clients – all women – can find themselves homeless and struggling with addiction for a variety of complex and interrelated reasons. It’s not a one-size-fits-all situation, and this reality isn’t limited by socioeconomic factors.
